Espresso Royale knows coffee and has the most incredible beans, lattes, mochas, teas and the best looking scones you've ever seen.  Located in fun downtown East Lansing, it is quite the hipster hangout, so if you've never been, you simply must stop in the next time your caffeine addiction kicks in. 

Big Apple Bagels is conveniently located right around the corner from school on Saginaw ave, and is a carb lovers paradise.  Their wide variety of bagels and cream cheeses is sure to please at any family get together, meeting, or an occasion.  They also have a mouth watering assortment of bagel lunch sandwiches that are so scrumptous. 

Breadsmith of Okemos is honestly the sweetest little bakery in town.  You seriously cannot step in there without wanting to buy everything in the store!  They have a huge selection of homeade breads, croissants, muffins, cookies, coffee cakes, and so much more!  I thought I died and went to heaven the minute I set foot in there, and even more so when I sampled the amazing homeade baked goods they lovingly bake from scratch!
